Continued efforts of the Syrian DGAM and the UNESCO in order to safeguard the Syrian cultural heritage

The DGAM (Directorate-General of Antiquities & Museums) and the UNESCO (Emergency Safeguarding of the Syrian Cultural Heritage project), as well as other international projects have held a technical meeting in Berlin.

The meeting was held under the framework of the "Syrian Heritage Archive" project in the Orient department of the German Archaeological Institute.

The meeting focused on built heritage inventories as well as the looted objects database, and concluded by drawing "swim lanes" for the participants in order to combine datasets between DGAM and the various participants.
